Anatomy of Ink - University project
From the early stages of concept design, ideas begin to flourish. This book is a personal exploration of research and form experimentation, aiming to design new conceptual objects with a timeless quality.
As an industrial designer, I have utilized the resources available to me to conceptualize ideas and give them form—whether to solve problems or fulfill needs. My creative journey involves discovering new ways to engage both with my inner creative spirit and with the external world that perceives my work.
This book encapsulates my experience and knowledge of paper, manipulated by ink and transformed by hand through folds and cuts. My intention is to document a process I have conceived at this point in my life—a creative process aimed at bringing ideas to life.
There is no intention to provide scientific research on the chemical properties of paper, ink, or other materials and tools presented in this book. Rather, my aim is to share this creative process with others.
I hope that, someday, this case study in morphology will inspire future product design projects. Additionally, I hope it serves as inspiration for other designers who may find themselves in a similar stage, where inspiration and concepts for their next project feel elusive.General Description
