LinkedInTabourete E44 - Jorge Urias Studio
Tabourete E44 is an architectural object that functions as a stool, side table
and sculpture. Its geometric design takes cues from the space generated at the
intersection of two streets Midtown Manhattan, New York: East 44th Street and
Vanderbilt Street.
This object is handcrafted and manufactured in sand casted aluminum.
My involvement in this project
For the Tabourete E44 project at Jorge Urias Studio, I created 3D models, built prototypes, and explored sustainable materials such as recycled aluminum. The design, influenced by Ciudad Juárez’s industrial heritage, was finalized and approved by Jorge Urias, the studio's lead architect.
